A resource to explore

Explore Your Values

Download a free values word list to explore qualities that matter to you and choose a small values-led action.

About this resource

The printable values word list offers language for qualities you would like to bring to everyday life. It is a starting point, not a list of qualities you should have. You can add your own words or choose different words as your understanding develops.

How to use this resource

  1. Read the list and mark words that feel personally meaningful.
  2. Choose a few to explore, rather than trying to prioritise everything.
  3. Write down what one value means to you and how you might practise it.

An everyday example

“Courage” might mean speaking honestly in one situation and trying something unfamiliar in another. Your own description matters more than finding the perfect word.

For reflection and learning. These resources complement individual support and are not a diagnosis or a replacement for therapy.
